Located in the heart of the Haut Marais, this cosy apartment comes up trumps location wise. The immediate area is buzzing with concept stores, coffee shops and Parisian terraces, and you're also a six-minute walk from Le Carreau du Temple, a former covered market turned hub for art exhibitions. Of course, even the most adventurous of urban explorers need a place to rest their feet every once in a while and this address is ideal for that purpose. We found that the living area has some comfy furnishings for throwing yourself on at the end of a long day and the Juliet balconies are a welcome addition, too. The host's eclectic taste in artwork stops the home from feeling too anonymous as well. If you're after an unshowy and fuss-free address while you get acquainted with the French capital, this might just be the one for you.
