Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
With its arty, colourful, and lively feel, this Tel Aviv apartment perfectly reflects the neighbourhood. So was this by happy accident, we hear you ask? Well, no. The home was designed by an esteemed local architecture firm. Their brief? To create a space that works perfectly for short-term stays, focussed around socialising and having a good time. With that in mind, you'll find open spaces with lots of cosy nooks to call your own, plus a wonderful terrace that was created for alfresco dinners. The colour scheme in the communal areas is relatively restrained, with greys and blues, plus elegant light fixtures and wood panelling. However, all bets are off in the bedrooms, with an array of citrusy colours adorning the walls. Nearby, Carmel Market is always worth visiting, especially if you’re looking to try the local cuisine. And both Banana and Geula beaches are within a short walk.

About Kerem Hateimanim
Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
