This gorgeous home is located just a five-minute walk away from glorious Tooting Bec Common – a vast expanse of greenery, home to a lovely Lido if you fancy a dip. Or, check out the raft of restaurants in Balham, a fifteen-minute stroll. If you want to channel your inner Nigella, there’s a library of cookery books here, if you prefer to stay in. Enjoy the fruits of your labour in the sumptuous dining room with its sparkling chandeliers. There’s even a live-in housekeeper to keep everything spick and span. Perfect for families – kids and adults alike are well catered for with two separate lounges. Challenge someone to a game of table tennis in the downstairs playroom or head out to the large, attractive garden with plenty of seating and dining options, ideal for outdoor entertaining. Originally from South Africa, she now lives in South London, close to the park with her family. Her lived-in housekeeper is the house manager so when the family is away, you can be sure, someone will welcome you to make your stay a fantastic one.
