You’ll find evidence of this restored old mill’s history, just outside Alhaurín el Grande, Andalusia. Original features have been preserved in the mill hall and kitchen, and an old millstone has been turned into a table for al fresco dinners, thanks to a full outdoor kitchen. In the orchard-fringed garden, there are several shaded terraces and patios and an inviting private pool to cool off. It’s a little dated inside, but some would say this adds to the country charm, especially the fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has all the basics, but you’ll really want to spend days outside, barbecuing, wandering the orchards and swimming in the pool.
