This hilltop home is nestled in the quaint villages of Ménerbes, with panoramic views of the Luberon. Built against a large rock over three levels, its unique design makes it stand out, and the whole top floor is dedicated to the main suite. Despite being on a road, the outdoor space offers a decent amount of privacy. The number of stairs and railings with big gaps mean this home isn't very suitable for young children or guests with reduced mobility. But with a small pool and lots of alfresco seating, you'll find it well-equipped for relaxation.

Home truths

There is private parking outside this home.

Your host can provide a baby cot for free, but you'll need to bring your own high chair if you're travelling with little ones.

Well-behaved pets are allowed with prior approval from your host.

This home is spread over three levels with lots of steps, and large gaps in the outdoor stairs and terrace railings. The front door also opens onto a road, so this home won't be the best choice if you're travelling with young children. It also won't be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

The road here isn't busy, but you'll hear some traffic –

The shower in one of the rooms is separate with a glass wall to the rest of the suite, so lacks privacy.

It’s little wonder why Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Chagall all felt the pull to immortalise the region in art. But beyond its mouthwatering food and drink, sensory romance, and small-town serenity, it’s the region’s manifold...
