This villa is the definition of Provençal charm. This stone-walled home sits in the heart of the village, Vers-Pont-du-Gard, where one of France’s most visited ancient monuments lies and where we imagine you’ll want to spend some time kayaking. The town is fairly quiet, but nearby Uzès offers buckets of culture should you wish to spend a day out. At the villa, you’ll find plenty of space for guests to spend time together and moments for downtime solo – there’s a fully-equipped apartment for those seeking a little extra privacy. We love the authentic details here, though you’ll need to mind your head on the beams – that aside, it’s a lovely place to call home.

This is a three-storey home with multiple stairs and therefore, may not suit those with reduced mobility.
