This loft apartment is on the first floor of a renovated old building in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. From your doorstep, you can head straight to the cosy tapas bars and pavement cafes that fill the narrow, atmospheric streets. It’s just 50 meters away from the Gothic Church of St. Maria del Mar, the Picasso Museum, the Cathedral, and the port of Barcelona. The apartment retains some history – restored wood ceilings, original stone walls, and parquet flooring. While the kitchen is fully equipped and up-to-date. Two balconies off the living room looking out over the charming street provide a spot for fresh air.

Home truths

This apartment is on the first floor of the building and there is no lift so it wouldn't suit those with limited mobility.

There is room for two additional guests in the sofa bed in the living room.

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.

If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.

Parking in Barcelona can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible.

About Gothic Quarter

Gothic Quarter is a true tourist hotspot, filled with shops and famous attractions on every corner. Home to some of the city’s most popular restaurants, bars, and quirky shops that stay open till late, the vibrant area is popular among young travellers and party-goers seeking the best Barcelona has to offer.
