Known as “Zeus Orchard”, the land here was cultivated by monks for olive oil and wine during the 1900s. Today, it exists as a private sanctuary where guests can bask in the tranquillity of this privileged spot. Along with the glorious views over the southwestern coast, you’ll find a saltwater swimming pool, a sweet terrace and peaceful rooms. You will have neighbours here, but it still feels secluded thanks to the walled garden. For explorations further afield, we suggest hiring a car – your host can help organise car rentals along with a range of other extra services. From here, it’s just a short drive down to Paliolinos beach, while the pretty port of Argostoli is also within easy driving distance.
