You could never tire of the rolling hill vistas seen from the private terrace of this pet-friendly Chianti apartment. Set in a handsome farmhouse dating to the 15th century, the home has been reimagined into five independent apartments with a shared swimming pool surrounded by hectares of olive groves at its heart. Inside, while the traditional interiors are charming, the living space with one sofa may feel tight if four of you are sharing. But with a private sun-kissed veranda and Jacuzzi (for an additional fee) outside, we don’t think you’ll mind. Location-wise, take your pick from medieval walled towns or wander-worthy Siena – it’s all just a short journey away.
