Up on the sixth floor of a historic Haussmanian building, this colourful Parisian apartment is a delight for families. There's plenty of space here for everyone, with multiple balconies to bring in the sunlight and sounds of the city. Our favourite thing about this home is the location – you'll be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, but public transport is just steps away and you'll find local shops and restaurants within easy reach, so there's always something to do.

Home truths

Not all the bathrooms here are photographed, but we expect consistent style and quality throughout.

Parking in Paris is tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible. That said, we think the best way to see the city is on foot.

This home is in an apartment building in a central location. You might hear noise from other guests and from the street throughout your stay.

There is room to sleep up to nine guests here, but the maximum occupancy here is still eight.

We think the single beds and pull-out bed are best suited to children.

The dryer could do with an update.

About Monceau - Ternes

This is the residential part of the affluent 8th arrondissement, tucked just behind the Champs Elysée but without the tourists. Your neighbours will mainly be wealthy families but you will also come across quite a few workers going to the office too. It's a safe part of town, well positioned for exploring more vibrant neighbourhoods like Batignolles, Pigalle, or even Grands Boulevards. You'll find lots of high-end shops around Madeleine...
