This one-bedroom apartment in the historic Bur Dubai district is a plush retreat for those visiting the city on business or a couple of urban explorers. While the interior is standard for this city, the large windows let in plenty of light and the home makes for a comfortable base. The balcony is a nice touch, allowing you to overlook the skyline view with your morning coffee. The communal pools, gym and saunas leave you with plenty of distractions, and you're just a short stroll from retail outlets and the station here – a brief metro journey will take you to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.
