Home to a writer-designer couple, this immaculately laid-out Vauxhall townhouse places fine eateries, gorgeous pubs, well-heeled shopping districts and The Oval cricket ground within easy reach. Each room's subtle design, replete with wooden furniture, creates a calming space that beckons you to relax after a day on your feet. Spread over four floors, there is plenty of space for guests to get some privacy here – we think the reading room and study will be hits with quiet seekers, while the olive trees and ponds in the garden create a perfect spot to feast on baked goods from the nearby artisan bakery.
