Hunker down at this West Dorset home set within a lakeside nature reserve and just a short drive from the mighty Jurassic Coast. Part of an exclusive holiday complex, the shared amenities are top-notch. Expect an outdoor heated pool, spa and gym, forest adventure playgrounds, recreational lakes, and endless walking and biking trails to explore. When tummies rumble, there's an on-site pizza shack. Or head back home to fire up the barbecue in the garden. But with wood stacked by the fire for cosy nights in and some impressive eco-credentials to boot (thanks to the solar panels on the roof), we can forgive that.
