If you’re after a peaceful retreat in Bali, this villa in Seminyak’s Petitenget area is ideal. It’s set in a tropical garden with fishponds and a free-form pool. Inside, the traditional open-plan pavilion with vaulted ceilings gives you lots of space to relax or hang out together. The bedrooms are spread across three garden pavilions and have semi-open bathrooms – so you can shower in the fresh air. Despite being surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants, it still feels totally private and quiet. The beach is a twenty-minute stroll, plus you'll even have staff on hand who can prepare meals or arrange extra services for a fee.
