An oasis in rural Bali, this traditional home is tranquillity exemplified. Only a ten-minute walk from the sandy shores of Batubelig Beach, it splits the bedrooms between two villas, giving everyone more space and privacy so you can come together outside to appreciate the idyll. Lush greenery and river stones surround alfresco showers and outdoor tubs, and a koi pond adds to the overall calm. Ample seating surrounds three swimming pools in the form of sun loungers, settees and Balinese pavilions. Throw in trademark decor and bright living spaces, and you can see why this one caught our eye.

The swimming pools aren't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
