Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Beyond this home’s landscaped garden, it’s nothing but fields as far as the eye can see. You’re in a tiny West Yorkshire village, just a short hop in the car from the natural wonders of the Peak District. The exterior is honey-stone perfection with a plant-filled garden providing an al fresco spot for drinks and lounging in the sunshine. Glass doors fold back from the dining room for meals that feel as though they’re outside. A modern interior – black walls and leather sofas – is a far cry from the cottage exterior, but doesn’t take away from the comfort of this country bolthole.

Home truths

Both of the bedrooms are upstairs, so this place may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

This is a terraced house so you'll have neighbours directly either side of you.

There's not a lot of storage in the bedrooms if you're planning a long stay.

If you're travelling for work, there's a dedicated work desk on the landing, rather than in a separate office space.

In a small village without a shop, having a car is recommended and there is private parking.
