With a terrace overlooking a tranquil freshwater lake, it's easy to see what drew us to this home. Though as beautiful as the view is, it's not all this house offers. Echoing the surroundings, the modern interior is peaceful and comfortable, with plenty of space for a family getaway. Location-wise, the estate is a sprawling 850 acres of woodland and meadows that you can explore on foot or by bicycle – perhaps plan a visit to the on-site spa post workout. Thrillseekers can paddleboard or fly high on a zip-wire through the treetops, and seeing as how you're in the heart of the Cotswolds, there's also an option of many day trips to quaint neighbouring towns.
