With Scandi-style furniture and a calming grey colour scheme, there's no doubt that this Georgian apartment sets the scene for a relaxing stay. Everything is sleek, stylish and super comfortable, with small pops of colour in the wall art and throw pillows. It's on the lower-ground floor, so it does lack light, but it's beyond roomy – there's more than enough space here to sprawl out. After a busy, settle down on the plush sofa with a glass of scotch or unwind with a soak in the master bathtub. If you're in the mood to cook, the modern kitchen has a good supply of crockery and dinnerware to make self-catering easy. There's also a small courtyard out back for when you want a breath of fresh air. Found in Edinburgh's West End, this home is within walking distance of the art galleries, bars, eateries and shops in New Town (about fifteen minutes away). The tram runs past the front of the apartment and Haymarket Station is a right down the road, so you're well-connected to the city. We suggest strolling over to Dean Village and along the Water of Leith Walkway – about fifteen minutes on foot – while Edinburgh Castle and Old Town are must-sees for history buffs, reachable in twenty minutes.
