If the mere sight of the New York skyline makes you feel excited enough to break out into a musical number, you'll love this fifteenth-floor home. Fantastically located between Greenwich Village and the West Village, this corner apartment treats guests to amazing views over 8th Avenue that can stretch all the way to Columbus Square. If you want an even more impressive vantage point, you simply have to head up to the shared roof terrace, from which you can get a good eyeful of southwest Manhattan and the Hudson. Back inside, the space has been recently renovated and benefits from a huge sofa draped invitingly in faux-fur throws, a handsome wood-panelled kitchen and a quirky collection of artwork. The host is an absolute star too, providing bathrobes, breakfast cereal, and four different bottles of wine for guests. However, don't be tempted to spend your whole stay indoors. The start of The High Line can be reached in only six minutes on foot, while there are jazz clubs, off-Broadway theatres and restaurants aplenty in the local neighbourhood.

About Greenwich Village

Take a stroll around Greenwich Village and you might – just for a minute – forget you’re in the heart of a pulsating metropolis. Greenwich Village may...
