Big, bright, and with three en-suite bathrooms, it’s hard to imagine how someone could have a problem with La Diligenza. Everything seems to have been taken care of. It’s also between the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, so while nowhere in Florence is a bad location, this one is especially good. It also has the Mercato del Porcellino directly beneath it, and while that has its fair amount of tat, it also has some exceptional leather goods and silk on offer.
