Looking quite palatial with gilded cornices and antique elements, this lime green house on the outskirts of Lisbon is perfect for a family getaway or large gathering. Though the style might not be for everyone, it's comfortable and has room for relaxing and keeping entertained. A games room with billiards and table tennis rivals the outdoor volleyball net, basketball hoop and mini football goals on the manicured lawn. But don't discount the terrace, where sun loungers and an alfresco dining table stand around a crystalline private pool. Within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries, it's only three kilometres from the beach and fifteen from Lisbon.
