And while you’ll need to climb some stairs to reach all areas of this three-storey home, you’ll be treated to a lake-viewed terrace and hot tub once you’re up. Sip a cup of tea from the hamper provided by your host, then head down to Bowness-On-Windermere for a day on the lake. The interior is modern and comfortable, with a country-style kitchen for enjoying family favourites after hiking the trails or teeing off at Windermere Golf Club.
