With a charming farmhouse style running throughout, this is a homely retreat for up to six people. You won’t even need to leave your four-legged friends behind as they’re welcome here too – just bear in mind the garden’s not fenced and there’s livestock about. Locally, a visit to Castle Howard Estate is a must, not least because with a stay here, you get complimentary passes and a voucher to use in the farm shop – just don’t forget to check the seasonal opening hours before your stay.

If you're bringing dogs, it's worth noting that the garden isn't fenced and this home backs onto open working farmland with livestock in the field.
