This annexe home is the ideal bolthole for couples or solo travellers looking to surround themselves with stunning nature. With beautiful views over the working farmland and rolling hills from the upstairs balcony and a garden complete with a stream and plenty of shaded reading nooks, you’ll have everything you need to disconnect and unwind. Inside, a fireplace is a nice touch too – ideal for cooler evenings with a glass of wine. When you’re ready to explore, there’s plenty of hiking and cycling routes nearby, and Alston is easily reachable by car where you’ll find ample shops, fascinating history and fabulous views of the North Pennines.

Home truths

    This annexe home is laid over two floors with internal stairs between them. The bedroom and bathroom are on the upper floor.

    While babies under 12 months are welcome, this home isn't suitable for toddlers or children. You'll need to bring your own travel cot and high chair if travelling with an infant.

    Please be aware there is a stream flowing through the garden. The garden is enclosed, but not fully secure, so if you're bringing a dog please make sure they're supervised at all times.

    Parking is available for two cars on the shared driveway. A domestic external 13 amp socket is available for the charging of electric vehicles subject to guests' own compatible cable.
