Close to the beach in L'Ampolla, this home is a great pick if you’re after sun, sea, and Spanish soul. There’s a pretty marina nearby too, along with traditional tapas bars and seafood restaurants offering a taste of local flavour. The apartment is bright and comfortable (if somewhat dated in parts), with ample space for a group getaway. There’s a balcony too, although it overlooks the railway line, so it’s not the most scenic spot. On the plus side, the train is handy for sightseeing, whisking you to Tarragona’s Roman ruins in an hour, and Barcelona in a little over two.
