Just up from Newquay's Fistral Beach – a surfer's paradise – this home is ideal for families who want to spend some time in the sea. While the terrace doesn't offer a sea view, you can look out across rolling hills and feel the sea breeze as you enjoy your breakfast on warmer mornings. That high position does come at a cost though, as the home's fourth floor is a bit of a slog given there's no lift – you may want to pack light. If surfing isn't your scene, you're just a mile from the more serene Crantock Beach.
