This stone villa may not be to everyone’s tastes, but if you’re looking for a unique property, with a private pool and mountain and sea views, it ticks all the boxes. Situated on a hill above the village of Armenoi, the home is just 400 metres from the village square. And while its stone walls and arches give the villa a traditional feel, it’s actually newly built. Location-wise, you’re 10 kilometres from Rethymnon, where you’ll find a long sandy beach, a Venetian harbour lined with tavernas, and a picturesque old town.
