Set in the hills of the Kozjak mountains, this villa has enticing views of the bay of Kaštela. Outside, the private heated pool, terraces, and summer kitchen mean you'll be able to make the most of the sunshine. But there's plenty of shade, too, under the olive, almond and oak trees. The drama continues inside – from the living room with its tall ceilings and mezzanine library, to the sunken hot tub and wine cellar. Some areas, like the kitchen and bathrooms, aren't the most visually impressive. But you can't beat the scenery, plus the historic harbour town of Trogir is only a short drive away.

• The swimming pool is available for guests to use between Easter and December, and can be heated for an additional €60 per day.

• There are three bicycles at the villa, which can be rented for €30 per bike, per stay.
