This authentic, 16th-century Mas is a hidden gem in the Gard region of France. Situated in a protected nature reserve, the Mas boasts stunning views of vineyards and mountainous areas. The 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom property has been lovingly restored by Dutch owners and offers guests an exclusive and authentic experience. The enclosed patio provides a simultaneous sense of openness and security and is perfect for al fresco dining. The spacious lawns are bordered by trees and lead to the large swimming pool and pool house with a long dining table. Children are safe to play in the enclosed grounds while adults can enjoy playing boules or table tennis. Inside, the thick walls keep the Mas cool during summer days, while the well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting areas make it feel like home. Bedrooms are equipped with fans for added comfort. This Mas is only accessible via a bumpy road, but it’s worth it for a rich outdoor life experience.

The most visited country in the world, France has long inspired artists, revolutionaries, dreamers, and bons vivants with its storybook landscapes, artistic treasures, and cultural idiosyncrasies. Paris is, of course, the country’s glittering centrepiece but there are countless beauty spots worth discovering outside of the City of Light. Sun yourself...
