Despite being just a thirty-minute drive from Florence, this idyllic home places you in the heart of the Tuscan countryside in a villa that dates back to the 16th century. We love the authentic touches inside, especially the large frescoes, and you'll even find a chapel on the grounds. The estate is shared with other villas, although you'll still enjoy plenty of privacy here – the tennis courts are communal, but the swimming pool is all yours. There's a café-tavern on-site if you don't fancy cooking – your host can even arrange for you to take your meals at home.
