Notting Hill is one of London’s most famous neighbourhoods, and The Basset Hound is right in the thick of things. The tube station is around the corner, so getting into central London couldn’t be easier, but there are so many restaurants and pubs in the immediate area that you could quite happily stay put. Hyde Park is also easy to walk to, as is Kensington High Street. The flat itself has definitely been designed to be rented out, rather than as someone’s home, but given that it’s geared towards longer stays, that’s probably quite a good thing.
