If you’re looking for a countryside escape in Slovenia, this villa in the village of Koseze is perfect. It’s surrounded by the green mountains and valleys of the Karst region, so you won't have to go far for views. The house itself has all the old-world charm, with vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams. One of the bedrooms even has a little attic den accessed by a ladder, which kids will love. There’s a private terrace and garden for outdoor dining or just relaxing. Shops and restaurants are a short walk, and Ilirska Bistrica is just minutes by car. There's also plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby, including Sneznik Mountain, which is less than an hour's drive.

At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping in the additional attic den space in the second bedroom. It's cosy with a low ceiling, so it's best suited for children.
