This stylish alpine apartment puts you within strolling distance of Chamonix’s historic town centre and the cable car. The space is modern yet homely, with an open-plan kitchen and living area that opens onto a balcony – the perfect perch for morning coffee with mountain views. The second bedroom is on the smaller side and windowless, but cosy for kids, and with a location this good, we think it’s a fair trade. From ski slopes to summer trails, or simply breathing in the fresh mountain air, this is base camp done right.
