Just a fifteen-minute drive from the Duomo in the heart of Milan, this stylish apartment is a great fit for a solo traveller or couple visiting the city. At capacity, two people will be sleeping on a sofa bed at the expense of the living space, so we think the home is better suited for those looking to drop off their bags and explore the sights from the get-go. For longer stays, please bear in mind there’s only a rail for hanging clothes in the bedroom. While the apartment lacks kitchen facilities, you'll find plenty of Navigli’s laidback eateries and bars just a short walk from your door.

Bocconi is an area in the South of Milan (still only a 25 minute walk to the spiky spires of the Duomo) that is probably most famous for being home to Bocconi University, one of the best universities in Italy. It's not the buzziest part of town but it's just a short walk either into the centre or to the neighbouring, and charming Navigli canal area, which is lined with restaurants and bars.
