Right in the heart of Lisbon, this first-floor apartment overlooks a bustling street, close to several hotspots like Praça do Comércio and Sé de Lisboa. Although there are a couple of paid car parks a short walk away, public transport is nearby so driving isn't necessary. The interior is beautifully decorated with Portuguese tiles and provides a comfortable space for remote work or relaxation after a busy day. While the kitchen is on the smaller side, it's ideal for preparing lighter meals, and there are numerous restaurants and cafes on your doorstep for grabbing a bite.

Home truths

There are some steps to get into the building, then several steep stairs up to the first floor and the apartment entrance.

Your host can provide a free cot and high chair if you're travelling with little ones. You'll need to request them in advance.

This home is in an apartment building, so you can expect to bump into other residents during your stay. There is also the potential for some noise from neighbours and from outside.

The kitchen is quite small, so we think it's better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. You'll find plenty of eateries nearby.

Quiet hours should be observed between 10pm and 10am.

Although there isn't air conditioning here, your host provides portable fans on request.
