Host Craig's deliberate and ambitious approach to hosting explains the extravagance that is Cherry Woodpecker. Every room on the upper level is adorned with gigantic works of art, dexterous ceiling details and cosy balconies. Each room embraces majestic views of the Aspen and Red Mountains. The lower levels, however, are more introspective. Be it a classy evening of whiskey and billiards or a power yoga session culminating in a massage or even curling up in the theatre with popcorn, the room for improvement is ever narrowing.
