Walking into this mansion is like the beginning of a magical children’s story. There are hanging basket chairs filled with fake furs to snuggle in; freestanding baths surrounded by hand-painted clouds; beds with curtains; porthole windows; doors that lead straight out onto a sandy beach. You half expect to be able to walk into Narnia through one of the antique cupboards. Its location is magical too: right on Portishead Beach, it’s the flat sand and shallows that family holidays are made for. When you're done with your daily sandcastles, walk along the beach to the lighthouse or take in the landmark views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, or for more life and soul Bristol is only minutes' drive away. Apart from sightseeing and playing, it’s possible not to lift a finger while you’re here. Hosts can arrange for private chefs, maid service, babysitting, you name it. All the ingredients for a truly magical trip.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
