This quintessential log cabin is tucked quietly between the pines. Ideally located in Mountain Village, this home is just a hop, skip and a ski away from the slopes, and a short drive away from restaurants and bars of popular Telluride. Telluride is home to the highest concentration of 13,000 and 14,000-foot peaks in North America and is a wonderland for outdoor adventurers in both winter and summer. Take in the snow-covered scene from the spacious living area, which benefits from high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. This space feels instantly homely, with cosy seating areas and a characterful stone hearth. The open-plan sitting room is at the heart of the house and is the perfect place for the family to gather. Cook a hearty stew using the 8-burner gas range and double oven and use the island to squeeze in more dinner guests. Once the stars are out, make for the hot tub and loosen up after a day on the slopes. Drift off to sleep beneath snuggly quilts in cosy bedrooms.
