Utah’s Park City is a world-beating ski destination: the biggest resort in the whole of the US. Treat yourself with a trip to its pistes – all 150 miles of them – and a stay in this gorgeous mountain apartment. Not your usual rustic chalet style, its decor is modern and stylish, filled with lush houseplants and personal touches like the retro vinyl player and record collection, and gorgeous prints and artworks. You can warm up after a day carving up the slopes with powerful showers and fires in the bedrooms as well as the living space. The latter has a dining table and a fully-equipped modern kitchen for when you want to eat in. On those nights when you’re too tired, Main Street is just eight minutes drive away, with plenty of après options. The apartment even has access to a swimming pool, spa and fitness centre, shared with nine similar units in the block (these are also available on Plum Guide, in case you want to rent one or two more for a larger group). Sounds like the makings of a world-beating holiday too.
