If you're feeling rather adventurous, hike all the way to Pont du Gard or take the car if you want see as much as you can in a single day. When you're back, go for a relaxing swim in the pool and enjoy a nice glass of locally produced wine, then maybe visit the nearby town of Uzès and explore the local restaurants. The wider area is filled with stunning gold courses and plenty of activities, but there's absolutely no rule that says you can't just stay in your superbly cosy holiday residence and curl up with a good book.
