Recently transformed into a high-end holiday home with oodles of character, this is a great spot for an adventurous family who seeks a bit of privacy and green views. The best thing about this home is the fact that you'll be staying on the actual riverbank of Hérault, so if you're into water sports, this is heaven. Lounge under the old sycamores, listen to the calming sounds of the river, and picnic in the idyllic surroundings. Because of the unique layouts, this home has a lot of nooks where you can enjoy a quiet breakfast or curl up with a good book — and speaking of breakfast, you can get it delivered every morning. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, so you'll get a bit more autonomy and brilliant views of the river. When you're ready to venture out, visit the nearby Pézenas and bring back a locally produced bottle of Pays d'Oc wine to enjoy over dinner.
