Picture your ideal escape to Tuscany, multiply it by ten, and we imagine you'll land on something that looks a lot like this home. With carmine and burnt sienna walls of terracotta and boughs of weathered wood holding up the ceiling, each space celebrates the beauty of the romantic architecture Tuscany is so loved for. Leaving aside the stunning furniture and artwork, there's an infinity pool overlooking the hills of Contignano, stone-arched terraces, and a barn housing a games room and sauna. Of course, a description like this hardly does justice to the home, but suffice to say that we could spend months without ever leaving the grounds. If we could define the raw passion of Tuscany in a luxurious home, this would be it. However, if you find yourself wanting to strike out and explore the area, you're under half an hour from Montepulciano. While it's not as well known as the likes of Florence and Siena, this medieval hilltop town is full of outstanding Renaissance architecture and family-owned shops and eateries, all washed down with some of Italy's best red wines.
