Nestled in the Rockies is this Colorado mansion set on 35 acres of grasslands. This warm wooden haven is a true mountain retreat adequate to host the extended family or a large group of friends. With plenty of indoor-outdoor living space, everyone will feel recharged before and after days spent reclining on chaise loungers or in the pool set into the home’s courtyard. When there is snow, you can cross-country ski off your own back-door and into the yard. The location is quite rural which means ultimate seclusion, but that doesn’t mean you can’t hit the slopes of Aspen for the day. We love that the home was built for a sustainable future, with geothermal heating throughout. Wish days away with a BBQ or roast s'mores on the fire. Not to mention the accompanying views of the sunset over the Elk Mountain range.
