For a home with serious mountain and sea views, you can't get much better than this. Located in Mallorca's prettiest village, Deia, this four-bedroom stone villa won us over with its enviable location. Among its bougainvillaea-laced gardens, the private pool will be your first port of call (before catching some sleep in one of the whitewashed boudoirs, that is). Enjoy poolside lunches under the terraced pergola, as well as feasting on Mediterranean dinners under one of the other dreamy terraces. Inside, relax by the traditional Mallorquin canopied seating area whilst playing out some smooth melodies from the Bose surround system. If you can bring yourself to leave the villa, the nearby beaches and Deia's tapas bars will be worth it. Finally, for historical sights, world-class galleries and a buzzing food scene, Palma, the island's capital, is well worth the forty-five-minute drive.
