Arriving at this home by the long, tree-lined driveway is an experience in itself. These converted farm buildings balance the traditional structure with high-end amenities perfectly, and the result is a home that will keep you enchanted for weeks. In the summer, roam around the huge gardens, swim in the nearby stream, or even arrange to go fly fishing with the host, Henry. At night, the lack of light pollution is remarkable, and the stars shine beautifully - we suggest mugs of hot chocolate on the terrace while seeing if you can spot the constellations. For colder days, there’s the snooker table and a well-stocked library. There’s also a lovely wood-burning stove and underfloor heating, which will keep you nice and cosy in the winter. Still not relaxed? There are deep soaking tubs, or for an extra special treat, book a private massage.
