On top of its idyllic farm location, this countryside villa has a lot going for it. Along with its four acres of gardens and private pool area, there’s a lovely outdoor patio with sweeping views of the ocean and the home’s private lake and gardens. The outlook from the roof terrace doesn’t hurt either, with panoramic views of the Espichel Cape. This home's interior is beautifully designed, and we can tell that a lot of thought has gone into retaining its Portuguese charm. We particularly like the azulejo-tiled kitchen, the terracotta floor and the clay sculptures. The paintings adorning the walls feel as though they belong in a world-class art gallery, while the living room fireplace keeps that rustic, farmhouse feel intact. One of our favourite spots, the Chinese canopy bed on the mezzanine, makes the perfect spot for a siesta and is certainly a work of art in itself. If you want to get out on two wheels, there are a handful of complimentary bikes that can be used to reach Foz’s nearby beach, and those looking for a day trip can explore Lisbon which is a forty-five-minute drive away.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
