Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located in the breathtaking Sintra-Cascais natural park, and only forty minutes from Lisbon by car, this home has the best of both worlds. Hikes and mountain biking in the forest or along the rocky coastline are all possible directly from the house, and you can walk to the nearest restaurant and beach which is a real plus. We'd also recommend a visit to the royal sanctuary of Sintra for beautiful architecture and panoramic views of the surrounding area – only twenty minutes away. The house itself feels rustic yet grand, and it honours Portuguese design traditions with plenty of original features. Wood panelling and colourful azulejos create a cosy vibe, while the local artwork and in-house library collection make the space feel friendly and familiar. You'll feel at home here in no time – especially with a dip in the spectacular swimming pool immersed in the manicured gardens.
