Behind this newly renovated home’s modern façade, you’ll find a wonderful open-plan living space, sunny yellow furnishings, contemporary wall art and a laid-back vibe. Upstairs, the superior master suite is our favourite, thanks to its private roof terrace and unique ensuite shower room. Spend your days splashing about in the green-tiled swimming pool in the beautifully manicured tropical garden with mature palms and lawns. Later fire up the barbecue for an alfresco lunch of Portuguese produce. When you’re ready to explore out and about – you’re located right in the heart of the affluent Golden Triangle, containing the Algarve’s most upmarket resorts of Vale do Lobo, Vale do Garrao and Quinta do Lago. The Blue Flag Ancao Beach is a seven-minute ride or twenty-five-minute walk away if you fancy a day on its golden sands, while Old Town Faro is twenty-six minutes in the car.

There are stairs in this villa, but three out of the four bedrooms are downstairs with ensuites, so this home can cater for those with limited mobility
Due to the San Lorenzo Golf Course and the other local courses being very popular, we advise booking well in advance
The seawater in the Algarve can be a bit chilly, so if you're travelling with young children, your best bet is to take them to Quinta do Lago lake to learn water sports
