About London Fields
Less raucous than neighbouring Dalston and less family-oriented than Stoke Newington, if this corner of Hackney has a defining characteristic it’s the streetlife. Maybe it's the influence of the area’s large and ever-growing Italian community — with tables and chairs lining the Broadway Market thoroughfare, cocktails and cabaret seating outside railway arches and picnickers in the park in all weathers. The park is also home to the London Fields Lido - London's only 50-metre heated outdoor pool, open whatever the weather. Dive in and join the hardy regulars who swim all year round!

Eat Pizza made in A Disco Ball Oven
Bob along to Lardo for lunch after a hectic day exploring 'The East'. Hip, industrial-chic pizzeria that is intimate and serves possibly the best pizza in London.
Go for a dip in London Fields Lido
A heated outdoor swimming pool set right in London Fields. This lido has a sun deck and sunbathing area in addition to a lovely café. It's also floodlit so has a lovely evening ambience.
Grab lunch at E5 Bakehouse
The E5 Bakehouse is an East London artisan bakery and coffee shop using baking traditions from their ancestors. They also do weekly bread courses and the Curried Red Lentil Soup is delicious.
Marvel the wonders at Viktor Wynd
Fans of oddities are going to have the best time here - the only Curiosity Museum in the country. With everything from taxidermy to Happy Meal Toys, it's an incredible collection.
Dine at Buen Ayre
A delightful Argentinian restaurant serving mouthwatering parrilla char-grilled steaks and delicious red wines. Enjoy the generous portions, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere in this compact establishment.
Pick your favourite Beer or cocktail at The Cat & Mutton
Sitting proudly at the helm of Broadway Market, this pub has been welcoming its costermongers and consumers for 300 years. And up a spiral staircase there is Pearl's cocktail lounge - your pick.
Admire the Rooftop views from Netil360
There's one thing you should know about this pared-down London Fields rooftop bar with panoramic views - there’s quite a bit of a walk (nine flights of stairs to be precise) but it's well worth it.
Wander around Mare Street Market
Mare Street Market is a great spot to while away a weekend afternoon. It has a restaurant and a selection of local businesses, including a record shop, florist, bakery, deli and cocktail bar.
