And while we cannot get enough of the sophisticated kitchen and Al Fresco dining by the pool, there's a whole lot going on right outside your door. That's just one of the perks of living in the former fishing village of Puerto del Carmen, brimming with restaurants and places to explore. Walk through the town, stopping at the many markets on the way till you reach the stunning Old Town Harbour. Settle in for a feast of tapas and delicious local wines. Once you're through, explore the many beaches around, some bustling and others introspective. If you ever tire yourself out, escape with a taxi boat to Puerto Calero Marina, and uncover a more upmarket take on the beach life.
